Defining Your Personal Promise Working together, you and Barbara will explore how the areas of your life are interconnected. You will identify the priorities in your life. Then you’ll establish your specific goals: goals such as achieving your optimal weight, reducing food cravings, increasing sleep, maximizing energy, and more.
With your goals and priorities in mind, you’ll develop tools which encompass and attend to three main facets of your life:
• Nutrition and the principles of clean eating
• Physical activity that works for you
• The awareness of loving nurturing relationships
As you work with Barbara, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of the food and lifestyle choices that work best for you. Barbara will help you stay accountable to your Personal Promise, and maintain a disciplined approach. With your “Personal Promise,” you will implement lasting changes that will improve your energy, health and overall balance.

The Nourish Fitness approach understands that no one specific approach works for everyone. Each person has unique food and lifestyle needs. That is why fad diets tend to fail in the long run. Most popular approaches to dieting create a short-term focus on calories, carbs, fats or proteins. Nourish Fitness focuses on the long-term, the whole you.
The Nourish Fitness approach doesn’t dwell on calories, carbs, fats, and proteins. You won’t have list of restrictions, or bad foods that are “off limits.” Instead, you'll learn to crave (and prepare) the foods that are good for your body.
Barbara will introduce you to some of the healthiest foods on the planet. Together, you’ll examine and explore various dietary theories, to determine what’s right for you. Barbara will support you to make positive changes based on your specific needs, lifestyle, and preferences. You’ll develop an understanding of how to find the foods that are healthiest for you.

It’s not just the food you eat, but how you move in and about your daily life. Regular physical activity is an essential form of nourishment. Establishing a healthy rhythm and routine creates energy and positivity, and generates endorphins that help you feel your best.
